1 package alba or ww chocolate drink
2 tbsp coffee
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp raisins
2 tbsp oatmeal
Directions
Mix all together; place on plastic wrap. Shape into a log. Freeze.

The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi index weight loss regime is based around the glycaemic index, a chart showing food types and a score representing the ease that the glucose of the food type gets transformed to sugar in the dieters system. The believe is that slow acting foods (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), keep you satisfied for a longer period of time and mean that you can take in less food without craving snacks all the time. It is also especially beneficial for people with diabetes, as the low GI foods are helpful in minimizing increases in blood sugar amount. Wonder foods with carotenes (includes paprika, mangos and tomato ketchup) These colorful vegetables and fruits contain carotenes (alpha and beta) thought by doctors to play a major part in helping prevent cancer, specifically those cancers involving the lungs. Most are also low in calories, so should be included in every weight loss regime. |
