Ingredients
1 package (10 ounces) frozen
1 asparagus spears
4 slices whole-grain bread
4 tsp fat-free mayonnaise
1 package (6 oz) fat-free
1 honey glazed chicken breast
4 slices reduced-fat process
1 american cheese
Directions
Cook asparagus as directed on package; drain. Toast bread; spread each
slice with 1 tsp. mayonnaise. Top with chicken, asparagus and cheese.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Set oven control to broil. Broil
sandwiches with tops 6 inches from heat about 1 minute or just until
cheese melts. 6 grams fat each

Weight loss dietsThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet created by Dr. arthur agatston, a cardiologist from miami, usa, which emphasizes the consumption of "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Agatston developed his nutritional system for people who have heart disease, as a consequence of his detailed analysis of scientific research on other weight loss studies. Good foods include, lean beef, turkey breast, clams, ricotta cheese, peanuts, lowfat milk and certain vegetables, like artichokes, collard greens and sprouts. The Atkins’ Diet Although it originated back in the 1960s, the atkins diet has been one of the most popular weight loss systms over the last few years. Having many well known film stars amongst its supporters, it supposedly allows weight loss whilst encouraging you to eat many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, for example pork and cheeses. Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet it is considered good to eat fat and protein, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. It is often referred to as a low carb/high protein, nutrition system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour. With this diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and, as a consequence, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and, as a consequence, olive oil. The Zone Diet The Zone diet is a diet first suggested by Barry Sears in a number of books and publications. The Zone diet isn’t expressly a weight loss diet, however many 'zone dieters' discover that they really reduce weight by following the zone diet. The main theory behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to control the levels of two important hormones, (insulin and glucogen), then anti-inflammatory chemicals are released which puts one's body in a state of equilibrium that is far more wholesome than normal, which is known as the zone. Sears claims that when in the 'zone', your body is much more efficient and, as a consequence, doesn't convert energy to unsightly fat. The key procedure of the diet is to maintain the ratio of carbs to proteins, and to take increased amounts of Omega 3 and omega 6. |
