The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1 cup seeded raisins
1 cup brown sugar, or 1/2 c splenda
2/3 cup shortening, + butter mixture
1 egg
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 cup flour


Directions

Directions Simmer raisins with just enough water to cover them for 20
minutes.Cool. Cream butter and shortening mixture. Add egg and sugar and
beat well. Add raisins and the water they simmered in to creamed mixture
and stir. Add the dry ingredients and stir. Put in muffin tins about 2/3
full and bake in oven at 350 degrees until done about 20 minutes.

Note For unsweetened I use 1/2 cup of splenda sweetener as my husband is
diabetic. These are great with your coffee in the morning.

Sears states that if you get into this 'zone', your metabolism is working at its best and, as a result, doesn't build up fat.
The main method of the zone system is to monitor and control the exact ratio of carbs to proteins, and to dose yourself with large amounts of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils.
