Ingredients
3/4 cup frozen unsweetened straw-
1 berries (slightly thawed)
1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/4 cup skim milk
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ice cube
Directions
In blender at low speed, blend all ingredients until smooth and
frothy; pour into glass.

Weight loss systemsThe Atkins’ Diet Originating way back in the 1960s, the atkins diet is still widely used today. Although highly controversial, it supposedly allows weight loss whilst allowing you to eat many of the foods you love, like pork and egg and cheese. With the atkins diet you eat protein and fat, avoiding carbohydrates almost completely. It is often referred to as a low carbohydrate/high protein, diet. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour. With the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are still nutrient-rich unprocessed foods such as meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and olive oil. The Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition and weight loss system primarily invented by Barry Sears in a number of books and publications. The Zone diet isn’t exactly a fat reduction diet, but many zone diet followers believe that they really manage to lose body weight by following the zone diet. The main scientific theory behind the Zone Diet is that if one can gain control of the amount of the hormones 'insulin' and 'glucogen', then your body releases eicosanoids which puts your body in a state of equilibrium which is more healthy than normal, known as the 'zone'. Sears believes that if you get into this 'zone', your body is much more efficient and, as a result, does not need to build up stores of fat. The main procedure of the zone diet is to control the precise ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to make sure your diet has plenty of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. |
