Diet Basmati Rice With Lemon And Thyme Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Diet informationThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet plan created by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which emphasizes the consumption of "good carbs" instead of "bad carbohydrates" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Dr. agatston developed his weight loss regime for people who have cardiac problems, as a consequence of his analysis of scientific data completed on other diets. Approved foods include, lean beef, skinless poultry, clams, low or fat free cheeses, almonds, nonfat milk and certain vegetables, such as artichokes, collard greens and spinach. The Atkins’ Diet Although it originated back in the 1960s, the atkins diet achieved most of its fame during the last few years. Although highly controversial, it supposedly allows fat reduction whilst allowing many foods that would not be part of a normal diet, like fatty meat and cheeses. With this diet you are encouraged to eat meat and fat, it is the carbs that are on the banned list. It is referred to as a low carb/high protein, nutrition and weightloss system. With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour. On the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat continues to be nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and, as a result, poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter and, as a consequence, olive oil. The Atkins’ Diet Theory The logic of the atkins diet is that if we cut down on carbohydrates, we will burn up the fat we already carry and we will reduce weight |
