Lycopene foods

The phytochemical lycopene is a naturally occurring pigment and member of the phytochemical group known as 'carotenids'. It is accountable for the deep red hue of some natural foods.

Unlike many other nutrients, this useful phytochemical does not become less effective if heated during cooking, but is genuinely strengthened by cooking.

The Atkins’ Diet
Developed by dr. robert atkins in the 1960s, the atkins diet is still widely used today. Popular with many famous celebrities, it supposedly allows fat reduction whilst still eating many of the foods you love, for example pork and hard cheese.
With this diet you eat protein and fat, it is the carbs that must be avoided. It is often referred to as a high protein, low carb, weight loss regime.
With this diet, the foods you should avoid are processed and refined sugar, milk, white bread, starchy vegetables, white rice and white flour, including cereals and pasta made from white flour.
Unlike other diets, on the atkins diet the foods you are encouraged to eat are nutrient-rich unprocessed foods like meat, fish and poultry. You also can eat shellfish, regular full fat cheese, butter & olive oil.
