Ingredients
1 package dried apricots
1 or 2 tab honey
1 cup fatfree plain yogurt
1 cup water
Directions
Wash apricots and soak overnight in water. Put apricots with juice in
blender, add honey and whirl until smooth. Pour mixture into a bowl
and whip in yogurt with a fork. Serve chilled.

The claim is that long-acting types of food (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), will keep you feeling full for longer and help you to eat less food without feeling hungry. It's also very good for diabetes sufferers, as the low GI foods are helpful in preventing increases in glucose secretion. |
