The Recipe Instructions
 

 

Ingredients

1 package dried apricots
1 or 2 tab honey
1 cup fatfree plain yogurt
1 cup water


Directions

Wash apricots and soak overnight in water. Put apricots with juice in
blender, add honey and whirl until smooth. Pour mixture into a bowl
and whip in yogurt with a fork. Serve chilled.

The South Beach diet is a weight loss system started by Miami, florida-area cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses that dieters should be eating "good carbohydrates" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats"
Doctor agatston invented this diet as an aid to patients with heart conditions, as a consequence of his analysis of scientific data completed on other weight loss systems.
Examples of good foods include, canadian bacon, turkey bacon, shrimp, provolone cheese, pistachio nuts, nonfat yoghurt and some vegatables, like kidney beans, collard greens and sprouts.


The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi (or glycaemic index) diet is based around the gi (or glycaemic index), a list showing types of food and a score representing the speed with which the glucose and energy of the food gets changed to sugar in the dieters bloodstream. The claim is that long-acting types of food (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), will keep you feeling full for longer and help you to eat less food without feeling hungry.
It's also very good for diabetes sufferers, as the low GI foods are helpful in preventing increases in glucose secretion.
