Diet Apples And Pears With Whole Spices Recipe brought to you by Diet Recipes To-Go
Weight loss dietsThe South Beach Diet The South Beach diet is a diet created by Florida-based cardiologist arthur agatston which stresses the consumption of "good carbs" instead of "bad carbs" and "good fats" instead of "bad fats" Doctor agatston invented the south beach diet for people who have cardiac problems, as a consequence of his detailed analysis of scientific studies on other weight loss regimes. Examples of good foods include, broiled ham, turkey breast, fish and shellfish, ricotta cheese, pecan halves, lowfat milk and some vegatables, such as black beans, lettuce and sprouts. The Zone Diet The Zone diet is a nutrition system initially suggested by Barry Sears in a series of books and publications. The Zone diet isn’t specifically a weight loss diet, nevertheless many people believe that they actually lose weight by following this system. The 'science' behind the Zone Diet is that if one can manage to gain control of the amount of insulin and glucogen (both hormones), then your body releases eicosanoids (anti-inflamatory chemicals) which, as a consequence puts one's body in a state of balance that is far more healthy than normal, this is referred to as 'the zone'. Sears claims that if you get into this 'zone', your body is working at its most efficient and, as a result, does not convert energy to unsightly fat. The main process of the system is to control the ratio of carbohydrates to proteins, and to take increased levels of Omega 6 and omega 3 fish oils. |
